Japan where Education matters

Image
A train station for just one passenger There is the story of a station called Kami-Shirataki train station in the northernmost island of Hokkaido, Japan. This station is used by a single passenger for years and the passenger is no other than a school girl who is doing her graduation.  This station is supposed to shut down years ago but the responsible Railway authority of Japan decided to keep the station alive till the school girl graduation. Soon the passenger has to graduate we will stop the station then. This depicts the picture of a country devotion towards education. This become then a reason for the people to say; “ Why should I not want to die for a country like this when the government is ready to go an extra mile just for me, ” one commenter wrote on CCTV’s Facebook page.
