CR7 Museum

CR7 museum is all about Cristiano Ronaldo, the legendary football player of Portugal national team and a member of Real Madrid, Spain.

He has multiple records on his account and they are beautifully represented in the CR7 museum. The museum is established back in 2013 in Funchal Madeira island Portugal. The place is chosen because of Madeira is C.Ronaldo's birth place. The house where he borne is few kilometers away from the museum.

I visited CR7 on 20th Jan, 2018 while I was on the conference visit to Madeira. Using hotel bus service of Vila Gill hotel in Santa Cruz, we reached Funchal in 25 minutes and dropped at the bus station just beside the museum. There is nice statue of C. Ronaldo at the front of CR7.

There is a special arrangement of showing C.Ronaldo practicing himself with a camera on the top and from a correct distance, one can shoot photo with him while looking to the camera. The photo gives the impression you are with C.Ronaldo, but they cost you for that with 5 Euro.

There is an album of his photos covering his childhood, teenage, and the now. He also have photos with his family members and other famous personalities like Nelson Mandela.

At museum, there is smart display where one can watch the photos and videos of C.Ronaldo in a range different years at different occasions. The small video clips captured the most thrilling and famous moments of his career while he had either a famous play goal or penalty shot. For instance, they have the clip of 2013 qualifying match when he made a hat trick of the goals.

An employess present for the guidance and explanation of different spots of the museum from a historical perspective. When asked from him, he told that C.Ronaldo come to Madeira once or twice a year. Most of the times he lives in Spain participating in Real Madrid. However, every year he visit his birth place i.e. Madeira island.

There are two statues one representing him as a national team player of Portugal thus his statue is designed in red color shirt. While the other one in while color represents his membership to Real Madrid, Spain as a club team member.

Madeira island is beautiful, but CR7 added to its beauty undoubtedly. Highly recommended place to visit not only because of CR7 but there are many other attractions too, including the journey from earth to the heaven using a cable car.
